Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through arlenemart.eu, operated by Bel Canto d.o.o. (trading as Arlene's Online MeetUp). By placing an order you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before checking out.

Parties

The parties to this contract are:

  • The Seller: Bel Canto d.o.o., Ivšićev prilaz 9, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. VAT HR68964256322, OIB 68964256322. Email orders@arlenemart.eu.
  • The Customer: you, the person placing the order.

Scope

These Terms govern all sales made through arlenemart.eu. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have the capacity to enter into a binding contract under the law of your country of residence), that the information you provide is accurate, and that you accept these Terms.

Order Formation

You place an order by adding products to your cart, entering your shipping and payment details at checkout, and clicking Place Order. When you place the order, you make an offer to buy the selected products at the price shown.

The sales contract is formed only when we send you the order-confirmation email. Up to that moment we may refuse the order — for example, because the product is out of stock, payment was declined, or we suspect fraud — and will refund any amount we have captured.

Prices

All prices shown on the site are in EUR and include Croatian VAT at the applicable rate (standard rate 25% unless otherwise indicated). Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are shown separately at checkout before you confirm the order.

Prices may change at any time, but the price shown on your order-confirmation email is the price that applies to your order.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us in full. See our Privacy Policy for details of the data flow.

Delivery

Delivery terms, geographic scope, carriers, and typical timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provided at checkout.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. The full mechanics — including the Model Withdrawal Form, exemptions (for example, perishable foods and opened hygiene-sealed items), refund timeline, and return-shipping cost — are in our Returns Policy.

Statutory Warranty

Under EU consumer-sales law (Directive (EU) 2019/771) you benefit from a 2-year statutory warranty covering defective goods or goods that do not match the description. If a product is defective or not as described, contact us at orders@arlenemart.eu within 2 years of delivery and we will repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with the law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian and EU law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to an order is limited to the total value of that order. We do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. If you are an EU consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.

Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve any dispute informally — email us first at orders@arlenemart.eu and we will try to reach a fair solution.

As an EU consumer, you also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, where you can submit a complaint without going to court: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally or via ODR, it may be submitted to the Commercial Court of Zagreb (Trgovački sud u Zagrebu), subject to the mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules of EU Regulation 1215/2012.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order is the version that governs that order. The Last Updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
